We like stars, because they are mysterious and they remind us of something bigger, something supernatural. As the old story goes: A disciple comes to his master asking about some problems he had. The Master then takes him outside on the balcony and asks his spiritual disciple: Look up to the stars. Now tell me, how big are your problems?

From a spiritual point of view our hearts are like stars or suns. They shine and can be felt and seen over endless distances by open people. We can learn to shine brighter and brighter for our environment by making more and more progress on the path of love. Such human stars can be uplifting and clearifying like a candle in a dark room.
