Iran is a country of mountains. Some of the wallpapers show Irans highest mountains North of Tehran. Their name is Alborz mountains, including the highest mountain of Iran: Damavand. Close to Damavand for example there is a nice spot with an old Assassin-castle-ruin on top of one of the mountains. Irans capital Tehran is a buzzling 20-million-people middle eastern melting pot - also there is some wallpapers from Tehran region. Esfahan or Isfahan is the third largest city in Iran and one of the culturally and historically most sophisticated ones. I lived and worked in Tehran as a Graphic designer so I may share some information and photos with you. Global media is broadcasting one-sided about Iran. If you consider travelling to iran you should know that there are some of the most hospitable people, beautiful sceneries and an ancient still vivid cultural life to be found. Of course there are certain restrictions that you need to follow but besides this there is no reason why you shouldnt go there. We are far too used to believing what the media tells us rather than getting our own impression. We prefer believing what a small group of people tell us because we are lazy and full of fear. It is much easier to accept a proposed enemy that can be blamed for whatever reason than to understand that we may be causing many of our problems ourselves and to accept full responsiblity. If we live a more spiritual life we may also understand the importance of cultural exchange and one-to-one confrontation with our enemies. Not in battle with combat gear but simply face to face, heart to heart. Then we may see that the people of different countries never have any real reason to hate each other. it is only the governments that create those reasons.
