SIMPLE AID CHARITY
Simple help and direct aid for people in need
Every year i use a part of my income to help people in need in colaboration with some friends. I used to ask others to support my endeavours through their donations but as of mid 2010 I stopped doing so. The main reason is that everyone needs to work his own way through the process of becoming more an more loving. This can only happen through personal involvement. Furthermore many people are too lazy to do something themselves and just want to donate to feel better inside. Nevertheless I will be posting about my own projects occasionally.

What
At least once a year we go to countries where there is a lot of poverty and spread medicine, food and clothes. Our help goes straight to the place it is most helpful.
Support for self-help
Other than food, medicine and clothes we provide needy people with an opportunity to learn something useful for their own future to establish their own stability. These courses mostly feature some sort of craft or basic organic agriculture lessons by local professionals.

First reports Bangalore:
After arriving in Bangalore me and my two local helper friends set up a schedule to do one charity site a day.
The first little action was to go to a place where people live in simple tents created from trash just on the side of the mainroad. We bought about 10 blankets for 2874 RS (42 Euros) as it was heavily raining and chilly. See the gallery above for some snapshots.
Sweets and cake:
We bought about 3 kg of cake and sweets for a price of 860 RS (13 Euros) for a small slm of metal huts. There were about 10 families and most likely they have never eaten that kind of cake because one piece is 20 RS (30ct) which is far beyond any affordable food as the average daily income is 50-150 RS. See the gallery above for some snapshots.
Clothes
Along one of the main roads in Bangalore there is several small Tents with families of about 5-8 persons living in each small tent. They operate some sort of craftsbusiness and sell their pieces. We bought dresses for 10 children (4700 RS = 70 Euros). Especially the girls felt very happy about being able to dress themselves up nicely now.
