Spiritual progress

A lot of Kriya vs. little Kriya

Whatever we do in full brings desired results. Anything else will always lead to something else. If you ever found yourself thinking “Oh, I cannot do this much Kriya now because I cannot keep up with this intensity later” you may need to change your attitude. This is very much true for any real spiritual progress.

Spiritual progress is like emptying a glass. Whatever you have emptied is gone unless you refill the glass with the same stuff again.

The glass however  is emptied only while being emptied!!

If you empty only little at a time it may still take ages to get rid of all the content.

It’s the same with spiritual progress while doing Kriya Yoga. The more and the longer you do it  the better it becomes(after having passed initial stages of necessary physical and energetical preparation and purfication).

A little Kriya will never lead you anywhere just as a little work will never make you successful or as a little love will never make your partner happy. Any “later” is always a prove of lacking readiness to give all to reach your goal. Giving all of course is only possible if you sincerely decide to devote all you do to your goal.

This is as true for business or sports as it is for spirituality.

Most spiritual and new age people fail to recognise this only because they think they are different.Yes, they are different: Most of them are much lazier than lets say professional sportsmen. They think “Oh well, I am spiritual and this is enough. God will take care of the rest.”

No.

We have to continously kick our own ass proving decisions and actions of love to really proceed on our way and to become a strong source of love for our environment ourselves. Ultimately this is the only way to lead a really spiritual life.

Anything else is a pure waste of time.

About me

I am a Communications Designer dedicated to the practice of love and Kriya Yoga in all aspects of life to achieve spiritual growth and to regain freedom and strength to reach oneness with God/the Divine through Maha Samadhi as described in ancient scriptures.

I operate www.designforunity.com to share creative bits and insights about my spiritual life, social design and my work.

What is a spiritual life?

A truly spiritual life has nothing to do with churches or sects. Above all it is about loving action and a loving attitude towards all creation. So it takes place in the streets and warzones where people fight each other and are too greedy to share and too aggressive to reconcile. Thus a spiritual lifestyle is one that improves our world.
